Fresh water system installs

Pumps, plumbing, accumulators, and filtration that deliver reliable pressure, clean water, and quiet running, without the hammering and pressure drops most systems suffer from.

Overview

Pressure, flow, and quiet, all at once.

A good fresh water system is one you forget about. The tap opens, water comes out at sensible pressure, and the pump hums on for a moment then stops. Most boat systems do not work like that, and the cause is usually a mismatch somewhere in the chain.

We size the pump to the longest run, fit an accumulator that actually does its job, set the pressure switch sensibly, and sort the pipe runs so the pump is not chasing leaks or air. Filtration is added where source water needs it, with serviceable cartridges in reachable locations.

If the existing layout is fine, it stays. If it is fighting itself, the worst parts are reworked instead of replacing the whole system for the sake of it.

What's included

What a fresh water install includes.

  • Pump selected for the right flow and pressure for your boat
  • Accumulator sized and pressurised to stop short cycling
  • Pipe runs in food-grade hose or PEX, supported and accessible
  • Filters and pre-filters where source water quality needs them
  • Calorifier connections checked, with anti-scald mixers where appropriate
  • Drain points so the system can be properly winterised
  • Tank fill, vent, and level sensing checked or refitted
  • Pressure tested before sign-off

Process

How a fresh water job runs.

  1. Diagnose what you have

On-board check of the existing system, talking through the actual problems you live with day to day.

  2. Quote the fix

Targeted quote: replace what needs replacing, leave what works, with reasoning for each.

  3. Install or rework

Tidy work, accessible joints, and labelled isolators so future service is easy.

  4. Test and hand over

Pressure tested, taps run, and a quick brief on draining, filter changes, and winterising.
