Recommissioning
Spring start-up checks and servicing so you get the season started with confidence, not surprises, with the engine, systems, and safety kit checked before the first trip out.
Overview
Start the season knowing what you have, not guessing.
The first trip of the year is when faults that quietly developed over winter announce themselves. A flat battery, a perished hose, an alternator that has finally given up, a cracked impeller. Not problems on a sunny day at the dock, but real problems when you are away from your mooring.
We run a proper recommissioning checklist before you splash, or shortly after if the boat stayed afloat. Engine started under controlled conditions, fluids checked, raw water restored, batteries tested under load, gas and electrical safety checked, and key wear items inspected.
Anything found gets a clear quote. Small jobs are done in the same visit. Larger ones get scheduled before the season really gets going.
